Former frontman of the acclaimed indie rock band The Walkmen, Hamilton Leithauser, has returned solo with a storybook-like album, full of lyrical sketches painting a vibrant picture of New York City life through personal memories of the people he sees every day, aptly titled “The Loves of Your Life”. This is Leithauser’s first new music since 2016’s critically acclaimed album with Rostam, I Had a Dream That You Were Mine. The album has since been praised by Pitchfork, The Guardian, The Line of Best Fit, Clash, Billboard, Paste and more.
