Australia’s favourite indie rock outfit Gang Of Youths fronted by songwriter David Le’aupepe and band members Max Dunn, Jung Kim, Joji Malani and Dom Borszestowski, have thankfully showed no signs of slowing down.
Following on from their critically acclaimed album THE POSITIONS and LET ME BE CLEAR EP, Gang Of Youths released their sophomore record GO FARTHER IN LIGHTNESS. Attempting to compartmentalise the past five years into 16 tracks is no mean feat, but the band come away with songs which encourage listeners to persevere as they’ve tried to, empathising with those who’ve brushed up against death, suffering loss every step of the way.
The past 12 months have been a remarkable success for the five-piece after gracing the cover of Rolling Stone (AUS), taking out a total of four 2017 ARIA Awards including Best Group, Best Rock Album, Producer Of The Year and the prestigious Apple Music Album Of The Year. The band also recently made their US television debut on Late Night With Seth Meyers and secured three singles within the triple j ‘Hottest 100’ top 10, cementing their status as one of Australia’s leading rock bands.
Having relocated to the UK, the band have been busy playing to SOLD OUT shows throughout the US and UK.
After their electric European tour and sold out North American tour, Sydney five-piece Gang Of Youths will return home this November for their ‘Say Yes To Life Tour’ presented by Handsome Tours and triple j. The 4x ARIA Award winners will perform at intimate shows taking place in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Hobart and Fremantle.
The PR Files is proud to work with Gang Of Youths in conjunction with Sony Music.

LAVRENCE, from the Queer fringes of Sydney has arrived. Posing the question - why exist quietly when your true self is just waiting to shine? The singer-songwriter was ecstatic to share the universe he has lovingly created.
Growing up in a music obsessed household, LAVRENCE’s taste for performance was quickly established as he’d race home from school each day to perform “Spice” by The Spice Girls (dressing up as either Ginger or Posh). He later honed these skills at a performance arts high school where he studied singing, dancing & acting.

Valentina Brave’s vintage rock, murder ballads and soul anthems come directly from the underworld. These are transformative songs that will spit you out on the other side of a journey that may begin in suffering, but ends in melodic freedom. Brave makes vulnerability her ally, a powerful medicine in these times. An artist worth witnessing, Brave recently shared the stage with global luminaires Michael Franti, Jackson Browne and Juanes at Byron Bay Blues & Roots Festival when Franti invited her to perform for his main stage closing set. With overwhelming response, it was a landmark moment in the evolution of powerhouse vocalist, improviser and world class artist.
Her upcoming EP WILDFLOWER, features her hit track “I Met A Man”, which was given it’s first play by Women In Pop and a video premiere from Music Feeds. Produced by ARIA nominated musician Danielle Caruana (Mama Kin), the EP, as the title suggests, is indicative of what grows out of human heartache. Wildflowers grow in graveyards, sprung from grief, their beauty bleeding unapologetically into the earth. Like these plants, Brave is a resilient feminine force.
The PR Files are so excited and proud to be working on the PR for Valentina Brave.
For the best part of four years, Belfast’s Naomi Hamilton aka Jealous Of The Birds has been toeing the line between the confusion and confidence of youth, developing a vocabulary as a songwriter rich in empathy and generosity.
